| Somehow this turn into my brakes are better than yours or your a idiot for spending money on Brembos, so here is my experience with both. I purchased stoptech on my 90TT from CZP and there was a huge improvement in fading and stopping power with the stoptech over stock. I thought those were good quality brakes. 
Until i purchased another Z that already had the Brembo BBK. They are so much better at stopping than the stoptechs. I don't think i would have purchase them with my own money, cause the price is so high, but for what is worth, in this case you get for what you pay for. I could never go back to anything else. 
I don't track my car, but i do take it to mountain cruises once in a while. Knowing how i drive and how i use my car, i would say the stoptech would have been fine. I just got lucky with the Brembos, and now i am spoiled. Figi, make sure you spend the money in what you really need. Tracking brakes should come later after you get all the rest of the car running again. Will you do a TT swap first? if so the brakes can wait. How about just getting the 350Z kit, i know ZonaZ is running them on the yellow monster.
